Online radios are a delight.I am currently listening to http://www.xfm.co.uk/ and it is wonderful because it is a diverse mix of rock and it is british, which i feel is the best scene for these things.

then of course there is BBC radio that I like as well but I listen to Asian music on that one, particularly on the Asian network.

I am itching to rewatch Garden State.

Hmmm, might just do so.

It's a brilliant movie.

Time for that bit of "creative writing" I wanted this site to be about. Hmmm...maybe a little story.

So once this lady who lost her job, spends all day looking through the classifieds when she thinks,
"Heck it, I have had a job since I was 15, it's time I had a break...let's go out tonight!"
Flash to this guy in a swanky bar with all his macho male friends, toasting to the new promotion he got after he inked a new multi-million dollar contract with some major MNC.
"Hey guys, I am gonna go get some fresh air, be back in a sec"
He walks out and sees a person ride in a really sexy looking bike, all sleek and black, with the rider suited up in those black leather motor gear and a helmet and visor all opaque and dark from the outside.
"That's a beauty you got there, care to join me for a drink, honey?" The man says, trying to be all suave and smart-assed.
The woman was all game for a good night out. She obliges and heads in right with him, after brashly parking her ride right in front of the place.
The man took her in, introduced her round. She finds it peculiar that she doesn't even need to remove her helmet for them to be all friendly and well, overtly friendly towards her.
Gauging the response, and the fact that he had such a great day, the man decided to take his chances. Even before the woman could take a sip of her drink, he goes to her and whispers a request for them to go back to his place.
She smiles at the thought, and is game for whatever the man is up to. Afterall, she was a risk taker, she had that taste for spontaneity. Not to mention, she was good at karate if anything got out of control.
Straight to his doorstep, at an equally posh/swanky apartment building. The man was still all excited from having ridden on such a classy, rare motorbike with an obviously hot woman. His hands trembles as he inserts the key into the lock, and he goes straight in to get things in order, letting her amble in by herself.
"Would you like champagne?"
Upon seeing her nod, he walks into his kitchen, fully equipped with the latest of appliances including a substantially filled wine cooler. She sits down on his couch and gets comfortable.
He walks straight in, and he cannot believe his eyes. The glasses and the bottle slips from his hands and crashes all over the floor. Such was his anxiety that he starts feeling faint.
Seeing that he fainted on a floor within moments, the woman shakes her head and goes to check if he was fine. She manages to get him to come around after some efforts of well, sprinkling water on his face.
"Well, well, I never thought me being 65 would pose that much of a problem," she smiles cheekily at him when she realises he was still a little shaken with her grey hair and her wizened wrinkled face.
With all that happened her first night out in ages, the woman decides that going out and having that night life is not for her. She gets out her cellphone and calls the man. She starts work the next day.

The End.

=P

Moral of the story: Don't become such a wise-ass yuppie. But if you do, be kind. :P
